1 day - 3 states!

Today we drove from Vegas to Lake Havasu Arizona.  We had to go from Nevada into California and then to Arizona.  It was only 150 ish miles and was a really nice drive.  The highways were excellent and the scenery excellent also.  So different to see pointy hills, and a lot of sand.  Not any industry or farms that we saw.  We did see Coyote Mines in Searchlight, Nevada.  I googled it and it is a gold  mine that has been in a family for decades.  Not that profitable but kind of interesting.

If you look really hard you can see two RV's in the middle of the picture.  People just go and "boon dock" where ever they feel like it.  We have seen RV's in the middle of the desert in California and Arizona.  My two nieces, Syd and Shari might be interested in that!

Very interesting hills in this area.  It is a lot of sand, in fact there was a warning in one area about blowing sand for "4 miles".  Would not want to be driving through there in a big wind for sure.

We remembered how to cook, wasn't sure we would after a week of eating out in Vegas.

This is what I saw tonight when I opened my door.  Beautiful.

We went into town to buy a few groceries when we got here.  If you can believe it we ran into one of my best Avon customers.  It was so good to see someone we knew and hopefully we will be able to get together with them.
